How many rooms does Floret Resort Lachung have?
Fifteen rooms in one building, across three categories: two family rooms with balconies (418 and 470 sq ft), seven mountain view rooms with balconies (130 to 231 sq ft), and six forest view rooms without balconies (124 to 218 sq ft). Every room has an attached bathroom, and rates are per room per night.
Which rooms have a balcony?
The two family rooms and the seven mountain view rooms have balconies at the mountain-facing end, looking out over the Lachung valley. The six forest view rooms face the wooded hillside behind the property and have no balcony, which is also why they are the quietest and least expensive category.
What is the difference between mountain view and forest view?
Mountain view rooms look out over the valley and have balconies; they are the main category at Floret, priced from ₹3,000 per night. Forest view rooms face the wooded hillside behind the property, have no balcony, and are quieter and cheaper, from ₹2,800. Both have a double bed, attached bathroom, television, wardrobe and seating.
Can I book a specific room number?
Yes, subject to availability. Room numbers and measured sizes are listed on each category page — for example Room 304 is the larger family room at 470 sq ft. Mention the room you would prefer when you enquire by phone or WhatsApp, and the reservations desk will tell you whether it is free for your dates.
Is the resort open all year?
No. Floret takes stays from 1 August to 14 April, with two breaks inside that window. It is closed from 4 January to 28 February, from 5 to 26 March, and from 15 April to 31 July, which includes the Yumthang rhododendron season. The tariff page shows the exact dates and rates.
