Lachung hotel tariff: seasonal rates

What a room costs at Floret, by date, and when the resort is closed.

In short: rates are per room per night and change with the season. Floret takes stays between 1 August and 14 April, but not continuously — the resort is closed from 4 January to 28 February, from 5 to 26 March, and from 15 April to 31 July.

Rates are for the room, not per person. They do not include any taxes or meal charges that may apply — confirm the final amount with the reservations desk before you travel. If your stay crosses a season boundary, each night is charged at that night's rate.

When the resort is closed

Floret does not take stays in three windows each year:

  • 4 January – 28 February. Deep winter.
  • 5 March – 26 March.
  • 15 April – 31 July. Through the late spring and the monsoon.

If your dates fall inside one of these windows, the resort cannot host you, and no rate is published for them. Travellers planning a Yumthang Valley trip in late April, May, June or July will need a different base in Lachung.

How booking works

There is no online payment step on this site. Rooms are confirmed directly with the reservations desk by phone or WhatsApp, which is also where you confirm meal arrangements, the number of rooms, and anything you need for the North Sikkim permit.

Check-in is from 12:00. Check-out is by 11:00.

Frequently asked questions

Are these rates per person or per room?

Per room, per night, in Indian rupees. The published figure is the price of the room for that night, not a per-head charge, and it excludes taxes and meal charges. Family rooms, which have two double beds, are also priced per room. Ask the reservations desk about extra-guest arrangements when you enquire.

Why is there no rate for May or June?

The resort is closed from 15 April to 31 July, so there are no stays to price in that window. This closure covers the late-April and May rhododendron bloom around Yumthang Valley, so travellers wanting that season need a different base in Lachung. Floret reopens on 1 August at the ₹2,800–₹5,600 per-night band.

What happens if my stay crosses a season change?

Each night is charged at the rate for that date, so a stay that begins on 15 October and ends on 17 October pays the 1 August–15 October rate for the first night and the 16–26 October rate for the second. The reservations desk will give you the exact total for your dates before you confirm.

Do the rates include meals?

No. The published rate is for the room only and excludes taxes and meal charges. Warm meals, including breakfast and dinner with vegetarian options, are served at the resort, and meal arrangements are confirmed with the reservations desk when you book. Ask for the current meal plan and its price at that stage.

How do I confirm a booking?

Call or WhatsApp the reservations desk on +91 9674922030 (Mrs Sima Mukherjee) with your dates, number of guests and preferred room category. There is no online payment step on this site; the desk confirms availability and the total for your dates directly. Customer care is on +91 9674922213 if you have questions after booking.
